Due to the COVID-19 virus Murray Valley Centre is now closed until further notice

This is a very confusing time for everyone in society and things seem to be changing day by day or hour by hour in some cases.

Currently disability services are classified as an essential service. If this changes all participants/family/carers will be contacted and informed of the change to usual operation or closure.

At present MVC is still operating with some changes to program activities. Community access activities have been suspended to minimise unnecessary travel and possibility of community transmission to our participants.

Murray Valley Centre (MVC) has assessed each area of the Centre to ensure that the numbers of people in each area have the required area of 4m2 per person and everyone is being encouraged, as much a possible, to keep appropriate distances from each other.

Swimming programs have been cancelled to try and ensure adequate personal spacing.

MVC transport is still running similar to public transport. If public transport is shut down MVC transport will also shut down. Parents and carers are free to transport participants to and from MVC if they do not wish to use the MVC bus.
